New ELISA parameters

HUMAN is once more expanding its already comprehensive ELISA line of 55 HUMAN parameters and nearly 70 IMTEC assays. Our ELISA launch focused on the following infectious disease parameters.

TOXO IgM μ-capture (Cat. No. 51119)

We are proud to introduce the latest μ-capture technique for determination of Toxoplasma gondii IgM antibodies. The assay principle is based on a capture antibody coated on the plate. This anti-IgM antibody specifically binds IgM antibodies of the sample reducing the risk of false results due to interferences as feasible for the current assay using plates coated with the antigen. The μ-capture technique results in an improved spe¬cificity by significant reduced interferences. The current Toxo IgM ELISA (Cat. No. 51109) will be phased out after a transition time for local registrations.

CHLAMYDIA TRACHOMATIS IgG (Cat. No. 51228) and
CHLAMYDIA TRACHOMATIS IgA (Cat. No. 51328)

STD (Sexually Transmitted Diseases) still rank under the top 5 of diseases in developing countries. We complete our line of STD ELISA (HIV, Hepatitis, Herpes, Syphilis) with the CHLAMYDIA TRANCHOMATIS an¬tibody assays the most important tool for differentiation of infection and therapeutic monitoring of the most frequent cause of human infertility.

CHAGAS REC (Cat. No. 51150)

Chagas‘ Disease endemic to South and Central America today causes more than 12 million infections and 14,000 deaths. However, it becomes more and more important for all countries with immigrants and tourists visiting this area. The ELISA technique is the most important technique for laboratory diagnosis including blood bank screening. The HUMAN Chagas ELISA as a recombinant ELISA has reduced cross reactivity to Leishmania a problem often observed with several other assays in the market.
