What we are looking for

You should have a university degree in chemistry, biochemistry or biology and at least 5 years of professional experience in the development of in-vitro diagnostics in clinical chemistry. You are familiar with the statutory and normative requirements of in-vitro diagnostics. Experience in project management and knowledge of business management are advantageous. You have a good command of written and spoken English and are well-versed in the use of typical Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and Power Point). Knowledge of the German language is an advantage.

Your tasks

You will be in charge of the development and testing of new clinical chemistry reagents and the further development and testing of our existing reagents, in addition to ongoing analyses. Further, you will be responsible for our applications laboratory, where it will be your task to develop applications for our automated analyzers. In the course of product development you will formulate new reagents and optimize current reagent formulations. In cooperation with Product Management and other departments, you will establish guidelines for ascertaining performance data and other quality specifications. You will guide the transfer of products to the production phase and ensure that the evaluation of our automated clinical chemistry analyzers is timely and cost-effective.
